The best way to share a great idea

Crowd-solving for Innovation and Economic Growth in Jordan (Idea Bank) provides the Government of Jordan with the opportunity to present needs and issues that Jordanian entrepreneurs can solve through innovative solutions. The project will create more job opportunities for youth and budding entrepreneurs and strengthen collaboration and communication between the government and citizens as they come up with innovative solutions together.

The project, funded by the U.S. – Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), conducts brainstorming sessions with participating ministries to identify problems. This platform, which hosts the idea of crowd-solving “Idea Bank”, allows participating ministries to submit challenges and invite entrepreneurs to come up with solutions. Ultimately, the project will organize a national hackathon for problem-solving with a startup pitch competition to propose solutions, where the three winning teams will receive seed funding and 6-month incubation services.
