Connecting ICT graduates and private sector companies participating in the Graduate Internship Program (GIP)

The Ministry of Agriculture faces a challenge in increasing farmers' demand for agricultural extension services that the ministry offers (i.e. education, training, and development support).

The Ministry of Agriculture is experiencing a lack of farmers' demand for agricultural extension services that the ministry offers; this is due to:

1. The difficulty of reaching farmers.

2. The difficulty of communication between the agricultural extension agents and experts with the farmers.

3. The difficulty of communication between the agricultural extension agents and experts with the National Center for Agricultural Research.

This problem mainly arises when there is any defect in the farmer’s crop production and thus a need for agricultural expert guidance emerges.

This challenge affects both the agricultural extension agents, as well as farmers. It is considered important to be solved because improving the farmers' access to agricultural extension services contributes to saving farmers’ time, effort and money.
